Ethics Bowl Exhibition: Faculty VS Students (Falcon Frenzy + Pfeiffer Life)
Location: Harris Lecture Hall
For this Ethics Bowl Exhibition the Pfeiffer student team will square off against selected faculty. The topic for this year’s Ethics Bowl is Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security.
Pfeiffer Ethics Bowl student team: Will be travelling to Raleigh in the beginning of February to square off against teams from Private Colleges and Universities from around the state.
Ethics Bowl is an hour long competition in which two teams square off on a timely and relevant ethical case. A case study related to the topic will be read by the moderator. The moderator will then pose an ethical question for debate. Both teams will have time to formulate and opening statement, have a chance to formulate a question to the other team, and offer a response to the question. Then both teams will summarize their argument. Teams will be judged upon the quality of their argument, their presentation, and their professionalism.
Falcon Frenzy: Events tagged with falcon frenzy mean that faculty are intentionally planning to be in attendance at these events.
All campus (staff, faculty, students, etc) are invited to attend!
