Endangered and Threatened Species Lecture
Virtual/Online
North Carolina Wildlife Federation’s Charlotte Wildlife Stewards chapter hosts Becky Skiba of the NC Wildlife Resources Commission for a presentation highlighting some of North Carolina’s most vulnerable creatures. Ever wonder what a red wolf, American alligator, eastern diamondback rattlesnake, and piping plover share in common? State-listed species are separated into three categories: North Carolina Endangered; North Carolina Threatened; and North Carolina Special Concern. Learn the conservation concerns and projects underway where you can help protect these animals and others for future generations. Resources on how to create backyard habitat and other useful topics for helping North Carolina’s greatest treasures will be provided free of charge.
