Another first-time entry into the D3 Showcase, Pfeiffer is the most local of any teams competing. The Falcons will make the short trip from Misenheimer, North Carolina to compete as the “hometown” team. Assistant coach Cory Lackey, who was a five-year starter at Pfeiffer, completed an internship with the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers in 2023.
