Center for Health Sciences
The Physician Assistant Studies program is located at the Pfeiffer University Center for Health Sciences, a state-of-the-art facility, in Albemarle, North Carolina.
The Pfeiffer University Center for Health Sciences features the Center for Advanced Clinical Simulation Education (CACSE). The Simulation Center includes a surgical suite, two ICU suites, emergency/trauma suite, labor and delivery suite, and six standardized patient clinical exam rooms. Each of these rooms are equipped with high fidelity, computerized human simulator.
The MS-PAS program has two dedicated technologically advanced classrooms, a flexible clinical skills and procedure lab and a multipurpose room for collaborative learning activities. Students also get hands-on experience in a Human Gross Anatomy Lab using cadavers, allowing them to directly study human anatomy. In addition to lab instruction, students participate in team-based learning activities where they apply anatomical principles to clinical scenarios.
