All alumni are invited, but it’s a milestone reunion year for Pfeiffer Classes ending in 4 or 9! Check out the Homecoming schedule below, and register to join classmates, roommates, teammates, and other pfriends this fall. Don’t see a specific milestone gathering for your class? Homecoming is also Family Weekend – a special time for current students and their families to reunite and enjoy Pfeiffer pfun and Falcon pride! In addition to Falcons Nite Out, tailgating on Saturday, and the Homecoming games, check out the special family events just for you, in the schedule below.

Class of 1974 Pre-HC Dinner | Loafers and Legends Early-arriving classmates from the Classes of 1970-1976 can enjoy dinner and karaoke at this local favorite in Badin, NC. The venue will only accommodate 50 guests, so seating is limited to these class members, plus one guest. Dutch treat. Loafers and Legends is located at 24 Falls Rd, in Badin, NC. Registration is required by October 11th. |

Falcon Trail Hike 9 am | Merner Gym Open to all alumni. Gather at Merner Gym to hike the Falcon Trail. Prior to the hike, Dr. Mike Riemann, Professor Emeritus at Pfeiffer, will give a brief informational talk about the trail, plans to expand, and its connection to the Carolina Thread Trail. The trail is 2.7 miles one way and considered easy hiking; Gary Weart ’71 and Paul Hinkle ’74 will lead the hike. More info when you register. |
Plein Air Paint Out 9 am | Merner Gym Open to all alumni and current students. Create a campus landscape by painting outdoors, from start to finish. Oil painter Melinda Allen ’74, who draws much of her inspiration from the natural beauty of the southern landscapes and seascapes of the Carolinas, will facilitate a time for artists to set up an easel and paint or draw a favorite campus spot. No charge, but painters will need to bring their own supplies. More info when you register. |
Family Weekend Check-In 10 am - 1 pm | Emily Prudden Park, North Lawn Families of current students are welcomed to Homecoming 2024! Look for the tent in front of Jordan Hall. Registration is requested by October 11th. |
Class of 1964 60th Reunion Lunch 12 pm | Stokes Student Center - Keith Conference Room Celebrate your 60th Reunion with a special luncheon just for the Class of 1964! $27/person. Heavy salad bar, dessert, fruit water, and tea. Registration is required by October 11th. |
Class of 1974 50th Reunion Lunch 12 pm | Stokes Student Center - Grady Board Room Gather with classmates, roommates, teammates, and other pfriends for a 50-Year Reunion lunch with the Class of 1974! The Classes of 1970-1976 are all invited! $27/person. Heavy salad bar, dessert, fruit water, and tea. Registration is required by October 11th. |
Family Weekend Academic Social 2:30 - 4 pm | President's House Patio Families of current students are invited to enjoy light refreshments with Dr. Scott Bullard, President, Dr. Danny Mynatt, Provost, and Pfeiffer faculty. |

Snyder Community Room Alumni in milestone reunion classes are invited to kick off Falcons Nite Out, with appetizers and drinks, at Pfeiffer’s Center for Health Sciences (245 E Main St). Registration is required by October 11th and limited to alumni in the Classes of ’64, ’69, ’74, ’79, ’84, ’89, ’94, ’99, ’04, ’09, ’14, and ’19, plus one guest. |
Meet Your People! 5:30 - 9:30 pm | Enjoy Bites, Brews & Music in Courthouse Square Park (2nd St & Main) to the sounds of DJ Elbert Branch of LaidBack Entertainment. Dance to your favorite reunion tunes! Annual Alumni Gathering 10 am | Pfeiffer Chapel Hear a University update from President Scott Bullard. Alumni Award recipients will be honored, as will Pfeiffer classes leading alumni support, including the Freddie Cup winner and reunion gift contributors. Calling all alumni singers! Participate in the gathering as part of an alumni choir, led by Joe Judge ’87, Director of Choral Activities. Rehearsal, at 9 am in the Chapel, is required. Falcon Tailgate All Day | Merner Gym Parking Lot Reserve your spots early for best location. $50/tailgate reservation. Pfeiffer Volleyball 12 - 4 pm | Merner Gym Catch the fun and fast-paced competition of Women’s Volleyball on Saturday afternoon. Family Weekend Social 12 - 5 pm | Lefko-Mills Field Mingle and enjoy refreshments with your student and other families, during Saturday afternoon Homecoming activities at Lefko-Mills Field. Look for the tent on the north side of the field. |
Dedication 1 pm | Lefko-Mills Field After a major facility upgrade last spring, Lefko-Mills Field will be dedicated in honor of former soccer coach Nicholas E. Lefko ’37 and former lacrosse coach Randolph P. Mills, Jr. Lead donors to the project will be recognized, and commemorative signage will be unveiled. |
Homecoming Soccer Game 2 pm | Lefko-Mills Field Root for the Pfeiffer Falcons in the NCAA DIII Men’s Soccer game vs Mary Baldwin University. Free admission. Pfeiffer’s Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned at halftime. |
Sports Hall of Fame Induction 5:30 - 7:30 pm | Stokes Student Center - Grady Board Room Join our University community as former student-athletes and coaches are inducted into the 2024 Class of the Pfeiffer Sports Hall of Fame. Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer/wine and other beverages, from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. The Induction Ceremony begins at 6:30 pm. $25/person. Children 12 and under are no charge. Hall of Fame members and a companion are guests of Pfeiffer Athletics. Registration is required by October 11th.
