Pfeiffer soccer player highlighted in Sports Illustrated

Shamsoun Dikori, a sophomore at Pfeiffer, is known not only as a talented soccer player, but also as a shining example of triumph over tragedy. After witnessing death and destruction during the Sudanese civil war and losing half of his immediate family in a car accident after moving to the U.S., he became a member of another family - 'the Fugees' family.

Chief Tracey Wyrick invited to share campus preparedness efforts with fellow officers
Law enforcement officials from campuses across the state will learn firsthand some of the emergency preparedness initiatives Pfeiffer has implemented during the 2008 summer conference of the North Carolina Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (NCACLEA).
Pfeiffer is a comprehensive United Methodist-related university, with multiple campuses that are committed to educational excellence, service, and scholarship.
